My stay at Osaka Ryokan Kuramoto was a unique experience, especially with the traditional atmosphere and the nice public bath. The location is super convenient, just a stone's throw from the lively Dotonbori area. However, the room was a bit snug, and my sleep was disrupted by noisy vending machines nearby. Overall, a solid choice for an authentic ryokan experience at a reasonable price.

The room was clean and had tatami mats, which felt really authentic, but it was tiny for two people. I appreciated the included matcha and the decent-sized TV, but there were some wear and tear on the paper panels.
Service

The staff were friendly and accommodating, really going out of their way to help with anything I needed. Their enthusiasm about the ryokan culture made the experience even more enjoyable.

The ryokan is perfectly situated near Dotonbori, making it easy to explore the best of Osaka. It’s a bit of a walk to the train station, but totally worth it for the vibrant surroundings.

Breakfast was a highlight! I enjoyed a delicious, traditional meal, and the breakfast room itself felt warm and welcoming. Having vending machines available for snacks was also convenient.

I loved the onsen on the first floor; however, the bathroom in my room could've used some renovations. Despite that, it added a quirky charm to my stay.

My stay at Osaka Ryokan Kuramoto was a good experience overall, featuring traditional Japanese hospitality and an authentic atmosphere. The location was incredibly convenient, close to major attractions, though the room size may be tight for couples. The onsen was a lovely bonus, and the breakfast was excellent, providing a true taste of Japan.

I stayed in a Japanese-style room that was very spacious and equipped with a fridge, television, and even a cute mini zen garden on the balcony. The bathroom was small but clean. However, I noticed that the futons had holes, and the bidet wasn't working well, which could be improved.
Service

The staff was polite and did their best despite their limited English. They were very accommodating to my needs, showing great kindness throughout my stay.

The ryokan is ideally located, just a short walk from Dotonbori and Den Den Town, making it easy to explore Osaka. It's also close to the Kintetsu Nipponbashi railway station, connected directly to Kansai Airport.

I enjoyed the onsen on the first floor which was a fantastic way to unwind. There was also a coffee vending machine that came in handy, but the internet was only available in the lobby.

My stay at Osaka Ryokan Kuramoto was a good blend of traditional Japanese ambiance and modern convenience. The spacious room was comfortable and featured beautiful tatami matting. However, the smoky lobby and some minor maintenance issues dampened the overall experience slightly. The location was unbeatable, making it easy to explore the lively streets of Osaka. 🌸🏨

My stay at Osaka Ryokan Kuramoto was quite pleasant, thanks to its traditional charm and great location near Dotombori. Though the hotel is a bit dated and I had some issues with noise from vending machines near my room, the warm hospitality from the owners and staff made the experience nice. Overall, it's a decent choice if you want to immerse yourself in a genuine ryokan atmosphere without breaking the bank.
